Chlorella is a high-protein "superfood" that contains all the essential amino acids. It has a very interesting composition in pigments, vitamins and minerals such as chlorophyll, iron, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. In addition, its fat profile is composed mainly of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids

Here are their main characteristics:

Organic or conventional chlorella

It is a dark green powder, it contains more than 60% protein. Chlorella premium is guaranteed with a minimum of 1700 mg of chlorophyll, and an indicative content of 400 mg to 800 mg of lutein per 100g: pigments that would give it detoxifying and antioxidant properties.

This chlorella is available with organic certification.

Chlorella titrated in vitamin B12

It contains a minimum of 200 µg of vitamin B12 per 100 g. This vitamin, mostly found in products of animal origin, is essential for the proper functioning of the energy metabolism, the nervous system and the immune system in particular (Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006). These properties make its use ideal for vegan applications.

Chlorella titrated in vitamin B12 is available with organic certification.

"Smooth”  chlorella

It has the particularity of being light green in colour and having a less pronounced taste and smell compared to premium chlorella. It suits perfectly to your formulations of drinks or smoothies. It contains more than 40% protein on a dry matter basis, and 600 mg of chlorophyll per 100g of chlorella.

“Smooth” chlorella is available with organic certification on request.

"White" chlorella

Its white colour is the result of a combination of rigorous varietal selection and a unique cultivation system, in heterotrophic reactors unexposed to light. In addition to having a lighter colour, "white" chlorella has a less pronounced taste and smell than "smooth" and premium chlorella.

Nutritionally, it contains over 35% protein on a dry matter basis and is rich in fibre, 18%. It is ideal for the formulation of drinks, smoothies, pastry or bakery preparations, sauces and mayonnaises, and cheese in particular.
